Tea, caffeine and health
Tea and caffeine
- Tea contains approximately 4% of caffeine.
- Coffee, tea and chocolate contain the same Alkaloids (xanthan bases in different proportions)
- LGreen teas and semi-fermented teas contain less caffeine (between 8 and 13 mg/ cup) than black teas (from 25 up to 110 mg/ cup). Coffee, on the other hand, contains between 60 and 120 mg/ cup.
- Because of the polyphenols that tea contains, our body absorbs the caffeine more slowly.
Tea and health

- Protects against cancer

- Stimulates body's natural defences
- Reduces stress and prevents flu thanks to the vitamins it contains
